MR. THOMAS MILTON KENLEY, JR. was born in Cheyenne, Wyoming on December 30, 1952. He was the son of Nell Brown Kenley and the late Thomas Milton Kenley, Sr. Thomas accepted Christ early in life as his Savior. He was a graduate of South Carolina State University in Orangeburg, South Carolina. He continued his education at North Carolina A & T State University in Greensboro, North Carolina. There he received his Master's Degree in Counseling. He was also a proud member of Groove Phi Groove Fraternity. He was a big football fan of the San Francisco 49ers. He was a mentor and advocate for youth at risk in Winston Salem, North Carolina. He spent a lot of time educating them into becoming productive members of society. Thomas loved spending quality time with family and friends. He especially enjoyed time with his loving daughters. On October 19, 2022 while at the Conway Medical Center in Conway, South Carolina, THOMAS MILTON KENLEY, JR. responded to the Master's call to release him from labor to reward. He leaves to cherish his precious memories, but not limited to: his loving wife of 47 years, Carol F. Kenley of the home in Conway, SC; his dedicated daughters, Shamry Kenley-Carpenter, Phoenix, AZ; Asha Kenley, Raleigh, NC and Carol Kenley, Winston Salem, NC; his loving mother, Nell B. Kenley, Bennettsville, SC; his brother, Ronald Kenley, Sr. (Davida), Virginia Beach, VA; his sister, Constance Purvis (Lindsey), Bennettsville, SC; three nephews, Ronald Kenley, Jr., Virginia Beach, VA; Rexson Kenley (Meshia), Atlanta, GA and Layton Purvis; other close relatives and friends who will miss him dearly. Everyone in attendance is asked to wear face mask and exercise social distancing.
