Thomas Clifford Covington

Thomas Clifford Covington was born on January 1, 1966 the son of TC Covington and the late Pearlie Mae McKay Covington. His birth took place in Marlboro County, SC. He was educated in the public school system in Marlboro County. He was a 1984 graduate of Bennettsville High School. He also completed the necessary course requirements for Truck Driving School. Thomas happily drove trucks, an occupation that he truly enjoyed, until his health began to fail. On September 21, 2022 while at the Rehab Center of Cheraw located in Cheraw, SC, Thomas C. Covington departed this earthly life. He leaves to cherish his fond memories, but not limited to: his father, TC Covington (Annie Mae); his sisters, Samantha Williams (Thurmond) and Pamela Green; his brother, Kevin Covington (Crystal); his niece, Jasmine Linda Green; his nephews, Daniel Green and Caleb Thurmond Williams; six grandnieces and grandnephews, other close relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held Sunday, September 25, 2022- 1:00 p.m. at Quick's Funeral Home -118 Robeson Street -Bennettsville, SC 29512 with burial at Quick Cemetery in the Sandhills of Marlboro County, SC. Everyone in attendance is asked to wear face masks and exercise social distancing.
