Theresia Thomas

Theresia Thomas was born in Bennettsville, South Carolina the daughter of Retha Mae Thomas and the late Willie Thomas. She attended PS57 in New York then later attended Clara Barton High School also in New York. Later she received her GED in her hometown in Bennettsville located in Marlboro County. She always had an eye for fashion and decor. Theresia also started her own housekeeping service called Tidy Tees Housekeeping in 2007. Live life, laugh and love is what she truly lived by. As strong as I can be, as far as, I can see it's all about living in love to me. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Tawana Thomas; her sister, Doris Thomas and her brother-in-law, Eugene Davenport. On March 14, 2022 while at the McLeod Hospice House in Florence, SC, Theresia took flight with wings as she left behind, her son, Ikey Thomas (Kaneisha) along with three grandchildren she loved dearly; her mother, Retha Mae Thomas; her brothers, Willie Thomas (Brenda); Larry Thomas (Ada); Bobby Thomas (Judy); her sisters, Doretha Davenport and Levonne Nipper (Samuel); two beautiful friends, Carol Bennett and Linda Jones. She also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. Navigating rough waters, be strong, courageous and do the work! For the Lord God, my God is with you. We'll have our fair share in life, but with God in our raft we're not alone. Keeping our eyes on the One who is navigating the rapids brings joy and security. He's taken lots of others through this before. God guides us through the rapids of change. Tributes maybe posted here or on Facebook at Quick's Funeral Home.
