Rosevelt York

Mr. Rosevelt York was born in Bennettsville, SC the son of the late Mary McInnis York and Dennis York. His birth took place on September 28, 1952. He was educated in the public schools of Marlboro County, SC. Early in life he was once employed at the Boro Wood Company in Bennettsville. The realization of his passing took place on August 29, 2021 while at his home in Bennettsville. He leaves to cherish his memories, but not limited to: his three brothers, Rev. John L. York, Bennettsville, SC; Evans York, Laurinburg, NC and James E. Cook, Southfield, MI; two sisters, Allean Davis McRae, Clio, SC and Katie Mack, Bennettsville, SC; along with other close family and friends. Celebration of life graveside service will be held Sunday, September 5, 2021- 4:00 p.m. at Shiloh United Methodist Church -2866 Newton Road, McColl, SC 29570. Everyone in attendance is asked to wear face masks and exercise social distancing.
