Mary Ruth Gandy

Mary Ruth Gandy was born in Marlboro County, South Carolina. She was the daughter of the late Artence Liles Gandy and Frank Gandy. Her birth took place on January 6, 1939.  She was educated in the public schools of Marlboro County. Early in life she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior. For her spiritual enrichment she would attend her family church, New Hill Free Will Missionary Baptist Church. Her life will be forever remembered fondly by her family and close friends. On October 18, 2023 while in Rockingham, North Carolina at Hospice Haven in the presence of her family, Mary Ruth Gandy departed this life. She leaves to cherish her memories, but not limited to: her daughters: Danyel "Tina" Gandy and Crystal Gandy; her sisters, Betty Gandy and Mildred Gandy; her brother-in-law, Alfonzo Easterling; along with other close relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
