Lula Covington Robinson

Lula Covington Robinson was born in Marlboro County, South Carolina on October 22, 1937. She was the daughter of the late Edna Lynch Covington and Willie Covington. Early in life she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior. As a young child she moved to Brooklyn, New York and there she completed her educational training. While in New York she met and married her late husband, Willie Robinson. They were blessed with four children. Three of her children preceded her in death: Ivory Covington, Joyce Robinson and Willie Barry Robinson. She was employed in the field of healthcare as a caregiver. When her mother's health began to fail, Lula, then returned to South Carolina to care for her. While in Cheraw, South Carolina at McLeod Health Cheraw, Lula Covington Robinson responded to the Master's call from labor to reward on November 11, 2023. She leaves to cherish her fond memories, but not limited to: her loving daughter, Jeannie Robinson Peterson of Clio, SC; 10 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other close relatives and friends.
