Keisher Thompson was born in Brooklyn, NY on October 27, 1966. She was born the daughter of Christine M. Johnson and Neil Coit. She was also blessed with a father figure in the late Clarence Simmons. Keisher was educated in the public schools of Brooklyn, NY and in Marlboro County, SC. She departed this life on June 23, 2021 at McLeod Health Cheraw in Cheraw, SC. Keisher was employed throughout her life in the school system of Marlboro County, Cathy's Florist, Quick's Florist, Camp Sand Hills, as well as with other establishments in the surrounding counties. Her last place of employment was with Chesco Serivces out of Chesterfield, SC. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Blenheim, SC. There she served as an Usher and sang on the choir. She was a fun loving person with a awesome sense of humor. She is survived by, but not limited to: her daughter, Zion McRae, Cheraw, SC; her sisters, Wyvette Douglas (Pastor James), Bennettsville, SC; Kim Thompson and Tonya Thompson and her brother, Keith Thompson, Bennettsville, SC. Along with other close relatives and friends who will miss her dearly. Service will be held Thursday, July 1, 2021- 2:00 p.m. at Word of Life Memorial Gardens on Beauty Spot Rd. in Bennettsville, SC 29512 .
