JIMMIE GORDON BRIGGS was born in Mullins, SC. He was born the son of Nora Briggs. He worked and retired from Otis Elevators in Florence, SC. Jimmie was also certified in Natural Gas repair. He was preceded in death by his son, Louis. He departed this life on December 21, 2020 while at his home in Clio. He leaves to cherish his loving memories: his wife, Linda Glenn Briggs of the home; his children: Jimmie Briggs (Tonya), Port Lucie, Fl; Tracy Briggs (Ebonee), Port Lucie, FL; Stacey Briggs (Rashawnda), Fort Pierce, Fl; Yikimya McLaughlin (Michael), Maxton, NC; Travis Briggs (Monique), Moyock, NC; Christy Carroll (Joseph), Greenville, NC; Joshua Briggs (Tonda), Florence, SC; De'Rio Briggs, Atlanta, GA; his mother, Nora Briggs, Fort Pierce, FL. Service of Celebration will be held Sunday, December 27, 2020 - 12 Noon at Word of Life Memorial Gardens on Beauty Spot Rd in Bennettsville.
