Janie Mae Moore Williams was born in Marlboro County, South Carolina on April 7, 1961. She was the daughter of the late Rachel Irene Quick Moore and Ludy Phillip Moore. She was educated in the public school system of Marlboro County and graduated from Wallace High School in the Class of 1979. Early in life she accepted Christ as her Savior. She was a member of Aaron Temple United Methodist Church where she served on the Usher Board, Gospel Choir, Chairperson of Relief Disaster Program, Arts and Crafts for Vacation Bible School and she served on the Trustee Board. She was a faithful member to her church. Her marriage was to Allen Williams, Sr. Janie was a great cook and her sweet potato pie was simply delicious. She was a skilled seamstress and often made dresses and garments for her family, as well as, for her church family's mime team. At one time she was employed at Sara Lee Hosiery in Bennettsville, SC. She was preceded in death by two special brothers-in-law, Sherolyn Davis and Andre Williams. On August 10, 2023 while at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord, NC, JANIE MAE MOORE WILLIAMS responded to the Master's call from labor to reward. She leaves to cherish her loving memories, but not limited to: her daughter and caregiver, Delisha S. Moore, Charlotte, NC; her son, Roddricquez O. Moore, Gastonia, NC; her husband, Allen Williams, Sr., Hamlet, NC; four grandchildren, Kaliyah Moore, Azaria Quick, Aries Moore and Nova Moore; two step-sons; two sisters, Alberta Davis and Sarah Smith (Murphy); special father-in-law, Lorenzo Williams; a special sister-in-law, Felicia Williams (Frank); three brothers-in-law, Sterling Williams (Erike), Mark Williams (Linda Faye) and Melvin Odom; nieces, Sonya Moore (James), Renorta Moore, Dominique Moore and Mariah Smith; two special great nieces, Ja'Leyah Quick and Jayla Quick; one nephew, Ronell Moore (Sharon); god-son, Michael Wilson; three special friends, Mae Conwell, Carolyn McMillian and Carolyn Quick; along with a host of other relatives and friends who will miss this sweet woman.
