Janice Bright Williams

Janice Bright Williams was born in Marlboro County, SC on April 8, 1953. She was the daughter of the late Mary Moore Hailey and Boyd Richard Bright. She was educated in the public schools of Marlboro County. Early in life she accepted Christ and was a faithful member of Aaron Temple UMC. For more than 26 years she worked at Leggs Hosiery in Rockingham, NC where she retired as a Supervisor. On May 18, 2022 while in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family, Janice transitioned from labor to reward. She leaves behind, but not limited to: her loving husband, Peter Williams of the home; her son, Wade Anthony Williams, Dunn, NC; her daughters, Daria Walker, Warner Robbins, GA; Natasha Smith, Largo, MD and Felicia Williams, Greensboro, NC; two brothers, Wally Bright and Richard Bright both of Bennettsville, SC; two sisters, Jocelyn Jacobs, Bennettsville, SC and Mary Ruth Gordon, Chesterfield, SC; along with other close relatives and friends who will miss her dearly. A celebration of life will be held Friday, May 27, 2022- 3:00 p.m. at Wayman Chapel Faith Center - 1935 Osborne Road - Hamlet, NC 28345 with interment at Aaron Temple United Methodist Church Cemetery - 3928 Aaron Temple Church Road- Bennettsville, SC 29512. Everyone in attendance is asked to wear face masks and exercise social distancing.
