Floyd Davis also known as "Mighty Fine" was born in McColl, SC on September 6, 1956. He was the son of the late Mollie Davis and Albert Davis. He departed this life on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Rehab Center of Cheraw in Cheraw, SC. He was educated in the public schools of Marlboro County, SC in the Adamsville Community. Floyd was also once employed at Purdue Chicken Farm. He is survived by, but not limited to: his son, Jermaine Davis, Bennettsville, SC; two daughters, Mary Brown-Short and Pamela Sellers both of Laurinburg, NC; three sisters, Channie Burroughs (Ralph), Bennettsville, SC; Patricia Woodard, Bennettsville, SC and Theresa Dease (Kent), High Point, NC; two brothers, Albert Lee Davis, McColl, SC and Samuel Davis (Panzy), Lortan, VA; his sisters-in-law, Maggie Davis, Bennettsville, SC ; his aunt, Carrie Lee Covington, Bennettsville, SC and uncle, Howard Campbell, McColl, SC. Several grandchildren and great grands, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Graveside service will be held Saturday, January 16, 2021- 1:00 p.m. at The Community Cemetery -St. Paul AME Zion Church - 1227 Adamsville Rd. N. McColl, SC 29570. Everyone in attendance is asked to wear face mask and exercise social distancing.
