Edith Bristow Pearson was born of the late Willie Boyd Bristow and Rosa Bell Wallace on August 31, 1931 in Hamlet, NC. She married Julius Pearson in 1951 and remained married to him until 1988 the year of his earthly departure. Her loving family would come to affectionately call her Esh. She would peacefully gain her well-deserved wings on December 23, 2021 surrounded by her family. She was a faithful member of the Green Pond Church of God In Christ of Gibson, NC and the Sound Doctrine Church in Rockingham, NC where she diligently continued to serve the Lord and His people fervently in several leadership capacities. Edith is survived by her daughter, Joann P. Graham (Willie C.), Bennettsville, SC; her granddaughters, Shelia Graham-McDonald (James), Mebane, NC; Anissa N. Graham-Davis (Eric), Hillsborough, NC; four great grandchildren: Julius C. Graham, Alyssa L. Davis, Arica P. Davis and Shananza S. Patterson; two great grandchildren, Kevin Terry, Jr. and A'nyla Terry. She also leaves two sisters-in-law, Vivious Pearson and Ruby Lee Pearson, as well as, a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. A private service was held Tuesday, December 28, 2021- 2:00 p.m. at Quick's Funeral Home Chapel with interment followed in the Word of Life Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Bennettsville, SC.
