Mr. Charles Benjamin Henegan was born in Brownsville, South Carolina located in Marlboro County, SC on January 16, 1935. He was the son of the late Anna Lou Williams Henegan and Theodore Henegan. He was affectionately called "CB". He was educated in Marlboro County, SC and as a young man worked in farming. He accepted Christ as his savior early in life. Charles was a dedicated member of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Blenheim, SC There he served as an Usher and drove the church bus. He once resided in the State of New Jersey where he retired after working several years as a Security Guard. His marriage was to the late Wilhelmenia Kennedy Henegan. He recently celebrated his 88th birthday surrounded by his loving family and friends. On January 19, 2023 while at his home in Raeford, North Carolina. Charles B. Henegan transitioned from labor to reward. He leaves behind to cherish his loving memories, but not limited to: his children: Charles "Bobby" Henegan (Adrienne), Sharrel Harpe, Ricky Henegan (Patricia), Lespia Kennedy (Lateefah), Katharine K. Bowden (William), Raoul Spencer and Monique Roberson; 8 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; his sister-in-law, Mable H. Graham; along with other close family and friends who will miss him dearly. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, January 28, 2023- 2:00 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church - 3632 Highway 38 South - Blenheim, SC 29516 with burial in the church cemetery. Everyone in attendance is asked to wear facial masks and exercise social distancing.
