Obituary

Barbara Ann David was born on September 27, 1948 in Brooklyn, New York. She was the daughter of the late Sallie Mae Peguese David and Thornell David, Sr. She worked for the United States Postal Service for over 15 years holding various positions including clerk, secretary and eventually retiring as a Supervisor. Family oriented, Barbara loved spending time with her family. Sadly, Barbara was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease and it ultimately caused her demise. She passed away on December 8, 2021 while at the Hamlet Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center at Nesconset, New York. Barbara leaves to honor her cherished memories, but not limited to: her daughter, Ursula Moore (Henry); son-in-law, Willie Moore; grandsons, Devin and Dondre; brother, Thornell David, Jr. along with a host of loving family and friends. Memorial tributes may be posted here or on Facebook at Quick's Funeral Home. Tune into Glory FM Radio 98.5 each evening at 7:30 p.m. for any updates. Graveside service will be held Tuesday, December 21, 2021- 11:00 a.m. at Trinity UMC- 1050 Highway 38 S- Bennettsville, SC 29512. Everyone in attendance is asked to wear face masks and exercise social distancing,
