Annie Lee Thompson

ANNIE LEE THOMPSON was born in Bennettsville, South Carolina on March 1, 1951. She was the daughter of the late Aggie Lee Thompson and Joe Nathan, whom she will be joining in Heaven. She was preceded in death by her son, Will Roberson Thompson.  Annie accepted Christ early in life as her Savior.  Early in life she moved to Brooklyn, New York where she raised her five children. She worked at Pratt Institute College for 43 years as a maintenance worker. She retried in April of 2013. In 2014, ANNIE, moved back to Bennettsville and purchased her home for her loving family to enjoy. ANNIE was always a kind hearted and giving person who always kept you smiling and laughing. On September 6, 2022 while at her home surrounded by her loving family, ANNIE LEE THOMPSON, answered the Master's call from labor to reward. She leaves to cherish her precious memories, but not limited to: her loving children, Timothy Thompson (Stephanie), Amaretta Thompson, Lashawon Thompson and Pam Farkley; her grandchildren, Nickawa McDonald (caregiver of the home); Brenton Davis, Turissa Thompson, Cashmere Meusa, Chanel Thompson, Chad Thompson, Chassity Mothersill and Chase Mothersill; her great grandchildren, Taylor Copeland and Tori Copeland; her sister, Christine Johnson and her brother, Pat Thompson; along with other close relatives and friends who will miss her dearly. Service will be held Wednesday, September 14, 2022- 2:00 p.m. at Break Through Beyond The Walls Church at 191 Atkins Street - Bennettsville, SC 29512 with burial at Word of Life Memorial Gardens Cemetery off of Beauty Spot Road - Bennettsville, SC. Everyone in attendance is asked to wear face masks and exercise social distancing.
