Annie Mae Alsbrook was born in Camden, South Carolina and was the daughter of the late Mary Brown Dines and James Guy Dines. Early in life she and her family moved to Marlboro County, South Carolina. She was educated in the public school system of Marlboro County. Annie accepted Christ as her Savior as a young woman and attended her family church, Goodwin Chapel AME Zion Church located in McColl, SC. On January 19, 2022 while at the Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital in Sumter, SC, ANNIE MAE ALSBROOK departed this life. She leaves behind to cherish her fond memories, but not limited to: her special nieces, Evelyn Dines, Mae Dines and Amanda Kelly all of the home and Dot Dines of Bennettsville, SC; Linda Cole, Conway, SC and Patricia McDowell, Laurinburg, NC; along with several other loving nieces, nephews, in-laws, and other close relatives and friends who will miss her dearly. Memorial tributes maybe posted here or on Facebook at Quick's Funeral Home. Tune into Glory Radio FM 98.5 each evening at 7:30 p.m. for any updates. Service will take place Saturday, January 29, 2022- 1:00 p.m. at Goodwin Chapel AME Zion Church- 2949 Newton Road -McColl, SC 29570 with burial in the church cemetery. Everyone in attendance is asked to wear face masks and exercise social distancing.
