Alexis Ann David

Alexis Ann David was born in Marlboro County, South Carolina. Her birth took place on July 4, 1958. She was the daughter of the late Maggie Jane Ford and Elijah Rivers. She was educated in the public schools of McColl, South Carolina, She graduated from McColl High School and was the salutatorian of her class. Early in life she accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior. She would attend Green Pond Church of God In Christ located in Gibson, North Carolina for her spiritual enrichment. Alexis was once employed at Perdue Farms in Rockingham, North Carolina until 2014. She was diagnosed at the age of 19 with Thyroid Cancer and with God's grace and mercy she entered into remission at the age of 21. Her marriage was to the late James Edward David. While at the home of her loving daughter, Erikka, Alexis Ann David responded to the Master's call from labor to reward on February 25, 2024. She leaves to cherish her loving memories, but not limited to: her daughters, Erikka Adams (Richard) and Sharmaneike Ford; her son, Derrick Ford (Monique); and special "son", Rodney Quick (Sharon); one sister, Edith Rivers Aigbedo (Boniface); three brothers, Charles Ford (Rose), Wilbert Ford and Johnny Rivers; a special friend, Andy McBride; nieces, nephews, cousins, other close relatives and friends.
